Taking a Break or Stopping Work

There is more than one way to stop receiving work in Dwelling Blocks, and they are not interchangeable. Pick the one that matches how long you will be away and how much you want to switch off.
A short break — Vacation Mode
Vacation Mode temporarily removes you from the list of assignable users. It is the right choice for holidays, illness, or any stretch where you will be back.
Turn it on from the three dots in the top right of your user profile, and off again the same way. See Vacation Mode.
Remember to turn it back off when you return — while it is on, you are not assignable.
Stopping new offers — Available for Assignments
The Available for assignments toggle on your profile details page controls whether you are eligible for new assignments at all. With it off, you will not receive new orders. See How to Enable "Available for Assignments".
An administrator can also switch this off for a user. If the status dot beside your sidebar avatar has disappeared, that is usually why.
Leaving one lender's panel
If it is one lender you want to stop working with rather than work in general:
- For yourself, remove the connection from the Order Sources tab on your profile. See How to Connect to the Lender Panel.
- For the whole company, open the lender on the Lender Connections page under Company Settings, click the three dots, and select Stop working with …. See Lender Connections.
Before a company leaves a panel, make sure every user in the company agrees and that there are no pending orders — leaving with work in progress is what causes problems during the transition.
Removing a user from the company
An administrator can remove a user from the User Profile page, via the three dots in the top right. See Guide to adding, editing, and removing users.
One thing to avoid
Do not disconnect your Stripe account as a way of pausing. Disconnecting pauses new assignments for the whole company and holds pending payouts until a new account is connected — it affects everyone you work with, not just you. See Connecting Your Bank Account.
