Pre-submission checks that stop avoidable failures
Every report is checked against the assignment at upload. Discrepancies surface in seconds, while the vendor can still fix them — and before anything reaches the lender.
A failed submission is rarely a serious problem. It is a minor one discovered late — a report prepared against the wrong order, a case number that does not match, a file the receiving system will not accept — and by the time it comes back, a day is gone.
Dwelling Blocks checks for those at upload, before anything is sent onward. The report is compared against the assignment it belongs to, and anything that does not line up is shown immediately, with the detail behind it.
For vendors
Most of what surfaces takes moments to put right, and you put it right yourself. No rejection notice, no error code to decode, no explaining afterwards. A report attached to the wrong assignment is replaced before it goes anywhere — the lender never sees the version uploaded by mistake.
Where the discrepancy sits on the order rather than in your report, you find out now and raise it while it still costs nothing. That is a considerably shorter path than learning the same thing from a rejection two days later.
For lenders
Reports that should never have arrived do not arrive. Neither does the correspondence that follows them — the rejection notice, the messages establishing whose record is wrong, the re-upload days later. Most of it is settled at the point of upload, by the vendor, without reaching your team.
These checks are deliberately light, and they run ahead of QC Review. Confirming the right document is attached to the right order takes seconds, and it means no report goes through a full quality review only to fail on something as basic as the form type.
The result is one fewer way for a file to lose a day — on both sides of it.
