Dwelling Blocks is open for business

We are building collateral workflows that run themselves — and the vendor network to carry them. Lenders and vendors can both start with us from today.

Dwelling Blocks is live today, and this is the short version of why we built it.

Collateral is where loans lose days. Not because the appraisal itself is slow, but because everything around it is manual — finding a vendor who will take the order, tracking what happens next, checking the report that comes back, and chasing the exceptions that fall out of all three. Most of that is coordination rather than judgement, and it scales badly. Volume rises, and the usual answer is more people on the phone.

We think that layer should largely run itself.

What we are building

Cortex automates appraisal ordering, tracking and delivery, placing orders against a credentialed panel and handling the exceptions rather than queuing them for someone.

Sentinel applies quality control continuously across collateral reports — scoring risk, flagging anomalies and routing decisions before they become revisions.

Atlas gives your team the operational picture: performance benchmarks, anomaly detection, and the numbers that show where turnaround is being lost while there is still time to act.

None of it is a reporting layer bolted onto a manual process. The point is to remove the manual process.

If you place orders

We would like to hear about your volume, your markets, and the parts of your current process that cost you the most time. That conversation shapes what we build next as much as it shapes what we can do for you today.

Get in touch and we will walk through it against your own order flow.

If you carry out the work

We are building the vendor network now, market by market, and we are accepting licensed appraisers and inspectors from today.

Joining takes minutes. Upload your license and insurance once and we validate both. From there you receive offers directly and decide what to accept, set the counties and ZIP codes you actually cover, and get paid through your own account when the work is done.

Join the network — early vendors help set the standard for how this works, and we would rather build it with the people doing the job.

Both sides, together

A network that grows on one side only fails on the other: lenders with orders nobody takes, or vendors watching an empty offers page. So we are growing coverage and volume in step, market by market, and being deliberate about it.

If you want in from either side, now is the time.
