Why Is Report Submission "In Progress" for More Than 15 Minutes?
Updated
At Dwelling Blocks, we strive to process your report submissions as quickly as possible. However, sometimes your submission may remain "In Progress" for more than 15 minutes. Here’s what you need to know:
Possible Reasons for Delay
- Scheduled Maintenance:
The Uniform Collateral Data Portal® (UCDP®) — the system that processes your report — performs regular maintenance every week from 11 p.m. ET on Saturdays until 5 a.m. ET on Sundays. - Third-Party Processing Delays:
Occasionally, delays may occur due to issues or slowdowns with third-party systems.
What Should I Do?
- No Need to Worry:
If your report submission is "In Progress" for more than 15 minutes, this is usually temporary. When this happens, Dwelling Blocks will automatically wait and resubmit your report once the third party is back online. - Check the status page:
status.dbx.sh shows any ongoing or recent incident affecting Dwelling Blocks and the systems it submits to. If something is already reported there, no action is needed from you.
Important Notes
- Upload Date is Preserved:
The upload date and time are recorded when you submit your report file. Any delays in processing will not affect your official report upload date. - Completion Notification:
You will receive an email notification as soon as your submission is completed.
